East Lansing will soon get its first taste of Sheetz, a Pennsylvania-based gas station and fast-food hybrid chain, with a location opening at 111 E. Saginaw St.
The store is expected to create 30–35 jobs, most of them full-time with benefits.
East Lansing next stop for Sheetz expansion in Michigan
Beyond food and fuel, a public affairs manager at Sheetz, Nick Ruffner, said in a statement that the company wants the store to serve as a “community hub," offering a spot for families, friends and fans to gather before Michigan State University games. The company also plans to continue its charitable giving in East Lansing, building on efforts already underway in southeast Michigan.
This will be Sheetz’s first location in the Lansing area, following its Michigan debut in Romulus and a series of store rollouts across metro Detroit.
An opening date has not been confirmed.
