MSU redshirt sophomore wide receiver Jaron Glover (4) tries to catch the kick despite the defense by Rutgers Scarlet Knights senior running back Kyle Monangai (5) at Spartan Stadium on Nov. 30, 2024.

Michigan State football redshirt sophomore wide receiver Jaron Glover plans to enter the transfer portal, the former three-star recruit told On3 Thursday.

Glover is the second Spartan to declare his intention to enter the transfer portal, following defensive lineman Ken Talley, who announced his decision on Tuesday.

MSU will lose one of its starting receivers from this past season in Glover, who has two years of eligibility remaining.

Hailing from Riverview High School in Sarasota, Florida, Glover had offers from West Virginia, Tennessee, and Georgia State, committing to MSU in 2021.

Glover played in 18 games for MSU between 2022 and 2024 with 30 receptions for 455 yards and two touchdowns.

After the 2023 season, the 6-foot-1, 204-pound wideout entered the transfer portal but withdrew his name weeks later.
