Finishing out a well rounded season, the Michigan State volleyball team has two players being recognized as All Big-Ten players for the first time since 2017.
Fifth year middle blocker Amani McArthur was named to the All-Big Ten Second Team Thursday afternoon. McArthur finished in 10 place in the Big Ten with a hitting percentage of .346, led the entire league in solo blocks with a grand total of 28 and had a total of 116 blocks. She also had a season high of 14 kills vs. Binghamton. McArthur was a previous All-conference USA selection as well.
Along with McArthur on the All-Big Ten Second Team, freshman outside hitter Taylah Holdem was recognized for her outstanding freshman season. She led all Big Ten freshmen in points per set (4.03) during conference play as well as finishing with a whopping 399 kills. She is only the ninth MSU freshman to earn Big Ten honors since 1999 and the first one since 2014. She was second on the team for digs (238) averaging 2.05 digs per set landing her not only the Second Team recognition, but also Big Ten All-Freshman honors.

The final award for the season included junior setter Julia Bishop who was recognized for sportsmanship honors for the season in being a leader for the team through the season.
The Spartans rounded out their season with a winning record of 17-14 which is the most wins since 2017 and a 9-11 record in the Big Ten conference. They set a program record with 61,000 fans averaging throughout the season and they were also ranked sixth in a rough estimate of home attendance per game with hopes to take that above and beyond in years to come.
