Jalen Nailor selected by the Minnesota Vikings in the 6th round of the NFL Draft

Michigan State wide receiver Jalen Nailor was selected 191st overall by the Minnesota Vikings in the 6th round of the NFL Draft.

Nailor hauled in 86 receptions for 1,454 yards and 12 touchdowns across his 28-game Spartan career. He also utilized his versatility and speed on special teams, accumulating 179 kick return yards and 48 punt return yards.

In 2021, Nailor formed an elite dynamic duo with Jayden Reed that thrived in single coverage. According to PFF, Nailor led the Big Ten with 449 yards versus single coverage while Reed was the runner-up in the conferece recording 386 yards versus single coverage.

Nailor will team up with two former Spartans in the Twin Cities, joining quarterback Kirk Cousins and defensive end Kenny Willekes.

Nailor is the second Spartan to be selected this weekend after running back Kenneth Walker III was selected in the 2nd round by the Seattle Seahawks.
