Michigan State University is partnering with the Ingham County Health Department to offer several COVID-19 vaccine booster clinics at the Breslin Center throughout January.

The clinics will be held Jan. 17, Jan. 26, and Jan. 31 at Breslin from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The clinics are open to both the campus community and the public. First, second, third and booster doses for all three FDA-approved or authorized vaccines will be available.

Individuals attending the clinics should bring a valid ID, insurance card and a vaccination card, if available.

Appointments for the clinics are strongly advised and can be made via the Ingham County Health Department website. However, walk-ins will still be accepted until 5:45 p.m. each day.

Students and community members attending the clinic should enter Breslin using the southeast Hall of History entrance by the Magic Johnson statue. It is recommended to arrive 10 to 15 minutes before a scheduled appointment and to not fast before, if possible.

MSU is requiring all students, faculty and staff to receive their booster by Feb. 1, if eligible.

Individuals are eligible for the booster dose five months after receiving the second dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna vaccine, or two months after receiving the single dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.

ICHD and MSU are looking into additional dates for booster clinics in February for those who are not eligible to receive the booster dose yet.
