MSU ranked No. 3 in first College Football Playoff Rankings

Michigan State has been ranked No. 3 in the first College Football Playoff rankings of the season. They are the highest ranked team in the Big Ten, two spots above Ohio State who will be their opponent in just over two weeks.

The Spartans are coming off of a big comeback win against Michigan led by junior running back Kenneth Walker III’s five-touchdown performance and are the only remaining undefeated team in the Big Ten. They look to continue their journey to the College Football Playoff when they take on Purdue on Saturday.
