The Spartans are on fire as they took home the win Sunday against the Ohio State Buckeyes and head into their matchup against University of Michigan on Thursday.

Despite the big win, they were back on the field Tuesday and ready to prepare for the big game, not letting anything distract them from the task at hand.

"I think this was definitely a step in the right direction," Cook said after Sunday's game. "We're just one of those teams that will celebrate today, but tomorrow and this next week we've gotta get right back to it."

Michigan State Head Coach Jeff Hosler will be coaching in his first game against the Wolverines this Thursday, but wants to treat this game like any other.

"I'm really excited to travel down the road Thursday," Hosler said. "We'll treat this game just like all of the other ones. It's going to come down to which team is more disciplined and executes those key moments ... I think that we need to be disciplined because they've got incredible amount of talent on that roster," Hosler said.

For the players that have been here before though, this isn't another game. It's a chance for bragging rights in the state and against a team that they know well.

"I'm super ready" DeBeau said. "We've been doing pretty good in Big Ten play preparing and getting our bodies and minds ready. We're going to go in like we go in every game at 100%."

Michigan State's play as of late has been shocking to the soccer community as their quick turnaround has turned some heads.

Their secret? Confidence.

"Our group's playing with a lot of relief and a lot of confidence right now," Hosler said. "It's really enjoyable everyday around the office and on the training grounds. The kids are giving us everything they have and it's a very highly motivated group."

The Spartans will take on the Wolverines in Ann Arbor at 7 pm. The game will be televised live on Big Ten Network.
