On Oct. 11, East Lansing Police Department responded to a shooting on the 1800 block of Swallow Court, according to Deputy Chief Steve Gonzalez.
The incident occurred after 10 p.m. One individual sustained a non-life threatening gunshot wound and a couple vehicles also sustained damage.
Gonzalez said the circumstances leading to the shooting are still under investigation. No one is in custody in relation to the shooting.
The incident is an open and active investigation.
