The Ingham County Health Department (ICHD) has closed its offices and canceled COVID-19 vaccinations for Tuesday due to the snowstorm that occurred Monday evening.

People who had an appointment for vaccination should reschedule using their confirmation email. Another email with additional instructions will be sent for those who cannot reschedule. The ICHD will also call people who do not have an email address, according to an ICHD tweet

Other offices such as the Ingham County Circuit Court, Ingham County Probate Court, 55th District Court (Mason) and Ingham County Clerk’s office will also be closed.

The Capitol Area District Library tweeted that their branches and outreach services will be closed as well. The East Lansing Public library will reschedule their curbside pickup orders for Tuesday.

According to the Grand Rapids Branch of the National Weather Service, Ingham County is under a winter storm advisory that is in affect until Tuesday at noon. It is predicted that the county will receive between five and eight inches of snow.
