On Tuesday morning President Samuel L. Stanley Jr. announced the third finalist — James E. Page Jr. — to fill the vice president and chief diversity officer position. Page will be virtually visiting campus Wednesday and Thursday.

Finalists are given a full day to interact with faculty, staff, administrators and students. Each finalist hosts an open forum on Zoom to share their personal background and interest in this position. A moderated Q&A discussion will follow the forum.

Page's open forum will be held from 12:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. on Sept. 3. Preregistration is required.

Page currently works at Palagn Enhancement Strategies LLC, where he provides strategic and tactical support to organizations across people, inclusion and belonging strategies with a specialty in health care and academic organizations.

Previously he worked as the vice president and chief diversity officer at Johns Hopkins Medicine and assistant vice president at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center.

Page has a Master of Business Administration from The University of Texas at Austin. He received his undergraduate degrees from Purdue University.
