Michigan State baseball’s annual golf outing is set for Friday, Sept. 25, the athletic department announced. The outing will take place at Forest Akers West Golf Course.
Set up every year to help garner support for the MSU baseball team, the outing will kick off with a 9 a.m. shotgun start. Those looking to participate will pay $125 per person, or $500 for a foursome. The foursome includes lunch and dinner, while those wanting to just join for dinner will have to pay $35.
As are all things these days, guidelines for dinner are fluid, and more information will follow leading up to the date on how the evening will comply with local COVID-19 guidelines.
Competitions within the outing will include closest to the pin, longest drive and skins contests. You can elect to sponsor a hole, lunch or cart by paying $200, $1,000 or $1,500, respectively.
Once the outing is completed, everyone will be welcome to watch the 2020-21 Spartan baseball team scrimmage at McLane Stadium. First pitch is set for 3:30 p.m. and will be free of charge.
