Michigan State head coach Mel Tucker secured another commitment for his 2021 class Sunday, when three-star running back Audric Estime chose the green and white over Arizona State, Duke and Iowa, among others.

Estime, listed as a four-star on Rivals.com, is listed at 6-1.5 and 215 pounds. He comes to East Lansing from Montvale, New Jersey and currently plays for St. Joseph Regional High School. Brian Dohn, a national recruiting analyst for 247sports, compared Estime to Jordan Howard of the Miami Dolphins and projects him to be a Day 3 NFL draft pick.

"Big body and muscular frame," Dohn said on 247sport's scouting report of Estime. "Can easily play at 225 pounds once body matures. Strong and physical runner. Gets to hole quickly and accelerates through it. Downhill runner with cut-back ability. Good vision. Comfortable running between tackles. Does not go down easy on first contact. Falls forward. North-south runner and does not waste time dancing. Asset catching ball out of backfield. Needs to show elusiveness in the backfield. Has to run with lower pad level and work on stop-start ability. Adding hip flexibility will help with elusiveness."

Last season for St. Joseph, Estime ran for 1,190 yards and 15 touchdowns, while also picking up another 65 receiving yards with one touchdown. He joins a 2021 Spartan class that includes three-star Oak Park running back Davion Primm and four-star offensive guard Geno VanDeMark, a teammate of Estime's at St. Joseph Regional.

The Michigan State 2021 recruiting class ranks 12th in the Big Ten and 54th nationally.
