State News 2020-21 Editor-in-Chief Evan Jones.

While the coronavirus pandemic has put a temporary halt to in-person State News Alumni Association events, it won't stop SNAA from linking together alums and today's S'Newsers. To that end, subscribers to the FREE quarterly SNAA email newsletter are invited to a FREE Zoom meet-and-greet with incoming Editor-in-Chief Evan Jones on Thursday, July 16 at 7 p.m. Eastern Time.

To participate, free registered subscribers need the free Zoom app downloaded to any desktop, laptop, tablet or smart phone, and the creation of a free Zoom account (something that many of us may have already done to work around the pandemic). Then, a half-hour before the event begins you will be emailed a Zoom link with which to join the event. Please follow directions enclosed with that email to join.

And that's it! Ask anything you'd like. Chat up a storm. Get to know Evan and the direction of The State News as it enters what promises to be one of the oddest school years ever. If you have time to join us, great! If not, just don't do anything and we'll get out of your hair.

To sign up for both the FREE newsletter AND the FREE event invite, email your name, email address, year of graduation and current vocation to alumni@statenews.com. And thanks for your interest in the S'News. We look forward to seeing you, both here and at future events.
