MSUPD investigating sexual assault at Wilson Hall

A sexual assault occurred at Wilson Hall on March 31, according to an alert from Michigan State University Police, or MSUPD.

The suspect is described as an "approximately 21 year old black male, 5'10" tall, 140 pounds," according to the alert.

"It's an open and ongoing investigation and that we are putting the appropriate resources to investigate this incident," MSUPD Captain Doug Monette said.

According to MSUPD, the suspect's identity is known.

MSUPD encourages anyone with information regarding this incident to call 517-355-2221, or 911 for crimes in progress. Community members may also submit a non-emergency tip by texting the word 'MSUPD' along with a message to 274637.
