—Michigan State University Police are investigating the death of a visiting student on Michigan State’s campus that occurred during homecoming weekend, according to MSUPD Captain Doug Monette.
The death occurred on Saturday, Sept. 28. Monette said the death in question was not an MSU student, but a visiting student.
Monette said there is currently an open and ongoing investigation into the incident, and no other details can be released yet.
“No information is available at this time, and there is currently no threat to the general public or the MSU community,” Monette said.
