'Hamilton' to open at Wharton Center tonight, cast to perform at The Loft May 27

The Broadway hit musical "Hamilton" opens in East Lansing at the Wharton Center for Performing Arts tonight at 7:30 p.m. The cast will also be performing a special concert titled "Hamilton 90's Block Party" to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS at The Loft in Lansing.

The concert will be at 7 p.m. on May 27. Doors will open at 6 p.m., and guests must be 18 or older to attend.

The event will feature cabaret-style performances by the cast, a live auction, raffle and cash bar, the press release for the concert said.

General admission tickets are $50 and VIP reserved tickets are $75. Tickets are limited and all funds raised will benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
