MINNEAPOLIS — By now, you've seen Gabe Brown and Marcus Bingham Jr.'s herky-jerky celebration known as "Go Crazy, Go Stupid." The two freshmen tighten their fists, straighten their arms, and throw them back and forth while shrieking. It has become one of the signatures of this particular vintage of Michigan State basketball, which has made it to its tenth Final Four in school history.

"At practice one day, I did it and everyone was laughing in practice," Brown said. "Then, it translated to the game, and it translated all over the world."

The Spartans aren't just going against the Texas Tech Red Raiders Saturday night at 8:49 p.m. EDT in the Final Four. They're also dealing with the horses in the back.

Lil Nas X's trap-country blend "Old Town Road" has become Texas Tech's song during their tournament run, with water flying and speakers blaring after each of the Red Raiders' four wins.

Freshman guard Kyler Edwards found the song on Twitter, and decided to show sophomore guard Parker Hicks.

"It’s kinda country, but it’s kinda different, so he kinda liked it," Edwards said.

Hicks, a self-admitted country boy from Decatur, Texas, embraced it immediately, and played it so often it caught the eye of coach Chris Beard.

"I heard all the horses, the tractor, the Wrangler on my booty, all that stuff, I was like, ‘alright, this is a good song,’ he put me on," Hicks said. "Coach walked into the locker room one day and he started dancing a little bit and we were like, ‘alright, we’re gonna start playing it.’"

A remix of the song appeared late Thursday night featuring country legend Billy Ray Cyrus. So, which version will the Red Raiders play if they triumph Saturday night?

"I think we’ll probably stick with the same one, but who knows?" Edwards said.
