BackStage Pass Concert Series
Thursday, March 7 and Friday, March 8
WKAR studios
404 Wilson Rd., East Lansing.
WKAR is hosting a free concert series. On March 7, musical artist Rachel Brockbank will perform her solo project “Tishmal.” On March 8, Detroit-based band Brother Elsey will perform. Walk-ins are accepted, but reservations can be made through the event’s Facebook page.

Thursday, March 7
MSU Broad Art Lab
565 E. Grand River Ave., East Lansing
Participants can try their hand at a new art project every Thursday with the Broad. This week, attendees can experiment with watercolor masking, using masking fluid to allow cover areas of canvas to remain unpainted. The Broad will provide all supplies for attendees to experiment with patterns and designs.

This yoga class is also a fundraiser for the Anishinaabek campout at the Mackinac Bridge protesting Enbridge's Line 5 oil pipeline and the possibility of potential oil spills. The class is free, but donations are encouraged. The class will involve dubstep music, meditation, breath and movement.
