Michigan State came out on top over Iowa earlier this season, 84-70, when the Hawkeyes came to East Lansing on Dec. 30.

Iowa’s 6-foot-3-inch senior forward Megan Gustafson has been showcasing her physicality since December’s match-up against other Big Ten teams, including her 75 career double-double during Iowa’s Feb. 3 victory over Penn State.

For the Spartans, 6-foot-4-inch senior center Jenna Allen is about to close in on the 1,000 career point mark. Allen has 989 career points going into the MSU-Iowa rematch and looks to seal the deal on the road. She will become the 27th Spartan to complete the 1,000 point feat if she surpasses the milestone.

The Hawkeyes are 11-0 at home while the Spartans are 3-4 on the road. MSU snapped a four away game losing streak after securing a 77-73 win against in-state rivals Michigan on Jan. 27.

Both teams have consistently started the same five players since the beginning of Jan. and will most likely use these line-ups:

Michigan State

Allen, junior guard Taryn McCutcheon, redshirt junior guard Shay Colley, sophomore forward Sidney Cooks and freshman guard Nia Clouden.

Iowa

Gustafson, senior forward Hannah Stewart, senior guard Tania Davis, junior guard Makenzie Meyer and junior guard Kathleen Doyle.
