Michigan State is coming off a 74-64 win against Michigan (19-10, 10-7 Big Ten) on Feb. 24. Senior center Jenna Allen had a team high 18 points and seven rebounds, followed by redshirt junior guard Shay Colley’s 12 points. Both redshirt sophomore forward Mardrekia Cook and freshman guard Nia Clouden had 11 points on the night. The Spartans shot 39.7 percent from the field, 26.3 percent from three-point range and 85.2 percent from the free throw line.
Penn State comes off a 76-65 win over Illinois (10-18, 2-15 Big Ten) on Feb. 24. Sophomore guard Kamaria McDaniel led with 20 points followed by junior guard Jaida Travascio-Green’s 19 points and four rebounds. Penn State shot 52.8 percent from the field, 43.5 percent from behind the arch and 71.4 percent from the free throw line.
Michigan State is 14-1 at home while Penn State is 3-7 on the road.
This will be the Student Appreciation Game as well as the last home game in the regular season.
