The No. 24 Spartans (17-6, 7-5 Big Ten) come off a 77-61 win over Indiana on Feb. 11. Redshirt junior guard Shay Colley scored a career high 32 points as well as the team shooting 47.1 percent from three-point range.
Michigan State is currently in fourth place in the Big Ten, making them eligible for a double bye in the tournament starting March 6.
The Badgers (11-13, 2-10 Big Ten) come off 78-68 loss to Illinois on Feb. 10. This loss also adds to their three-game losing streak with losses against Michigan and Maryland. Senior forward Marsha Howard had 19 points and seven rebounds in the losing effort.
Wisconsin is currently in 13th place in the Big Ten, making them eligible for a March 6 game in the first round of the tournament.
Michigan State is 3-5 on the road while Wisconsin is 8-5 at home.
The Spartans have had the same starting lineup for a majority of the season and will most likely be consistent with senior center Jenna Allen, Colley, sophomore forward Sidney Cooks, junior guard Taryn McCutcheon and freshman guard Nia Clouden.
The Badgers have started Howard, freshman forward Imani Lewis, senior guard Kelly Karlis and junior guard Kendra Van Leeuwen all season. The fifth will most likely be sophomore guard Niya Beverley.
