Michigan State men’s basketball moved up four spots to the No. 6 position after wins against Rutgers Feb. 20, and now No. 9 Michigan Feb. 24. The team holds an overall record of 23-5, and a Big Ten record of 14-3, keeping the top ten ranking for the second week in a row.
Previously No. 1 Duke moved down to No. 3, with Gonzaga claiming the No. 1, after being No. 2 last week. Virginia moved up to No. 2 from No. 3, switching up the top three teams.
With the Spartans’ huge road victory against the Wolverines, Michigan dropped two spots from No. 7 to No. 9, with their record now being 24-4, 13-4 in the Big Ten.
