Junior guard Cassius Winston was named the Co-Player of the Week in the Big Ten along with Minnesota’s, senior forward, Jordan Murphy.

Winston averaged 20 points, 7.3 assists, 3.3 rebounds and shot 47.1 percent from beyond the arc in the No. 6 Spartans’ three games last week, two of which came against ranked opponents,  last Monday against then-No. 13 Maryland and Thursday against then-No. 19 Iowa.

This is Winston’s fourth Big Ten Player of the Week award and his second in consecutive weeks.

With four awards in one season, Winston joins Joins Draymond Green (2011-12) and Denzel Valentine (2015-16) as the only other Spartans to accomplish that feat.
