—A Mississippi man was arrested for the murder of 22-year-old MSU student Isai Berrones, according to an East Lansing Police Department press release.
The 30-year-old suspect was found in Grove City, Ohio and arrested, according to the press release.The extradition process is underway to transport him to Michigan.
Berrones was found wounded in the early morning of Oct. 12. ELPD responded to a report of fighting and gunshots in the 2500 block of Abbot Road.
He was pronounced dead after being taken to the hospital. He had been studying food science at MSU and was in his senior year.
The suspect's name has not been released as of now. The press release states his identity will be released at his arraignment.
