Next weekend, seven a cappella groups from MSU's campus will perform under one roof for two shows.

Accapalooza 2018 will occur at East Lansing's Hannah Community Center at 7 p.m. Oct. 12 and Oct. 13.

Both shows will be hosted by Capital Green, a prominent a cappella group on campus. The shows will also feature the music stylings of MSU Accafellas, Spartan Sur, Ladies First, The Spartan Dischords, State of Fifths and RCAHpella.

“Have you ever seen 'Pitch Perfect'? If you have, you’re going to love Accapalooza,” Capital Green President Allison Contreras said. "The MSU a cappella community is full of the most talented people I have ever met in my life.”

Tickets for Accapalooza are $12 for adults and $8 for children 13 and under. For students with a valid ID, tickets are $10.

Tickets can be purchased online or at the door. They'll be sold at the door both nights, but it's recommended to buy tickets prior to the event as they're expected to sell out.

The groups will be selling merchandise during intermission and after the show.

“It’s such a fun event and it’s so interesting to see what students dedicate their time and their lives to outside of school and put in so much passion and effort," Contreras said. "Come see what we have. Come see what all the groups have worked so hard to perform."
