Michigan State Midnight Madness date announced

The men's and women's basketball teams announced Thursday that Michigan State Madness will take place on Friday, Oct. 5 at the Breslin Center with doors opening at 8:30 p.m. 

The free event will start at 9:30 p.m., where fans can meet their favorite Spartan players on the concourse to get autographs. The program will introduce both the men's and women's basketball players and the teams will play in a scrimmage. 

Other performances will include the Spartan Marching Band and drumline, Spartan cheerleaders, the MSU dance team and Sparty.
