After a 16-13 loss to now-No. 23 Arizona State (2-0) Saturday night in Tempe, then-No. 15 Michigan State (1-1) dropped in the AP Top 25 writers poll Sunday afternoon to No. 25.
The Spartans also dropped from No. 13 to No. 24 in the USA Today Amway Coaches poll.
Other Big Ten teams that moved in this week's AP poll are Wisconsin from No. 5 to No. 6, Penn State from No. 13 to No. 11 and Michigan from No. 21 to No. 19. Ohio State remained at No. 4.
