USA Volleyball announced sophomore outside hitter Meredith Norris earned a spot on the 24-player U.S. Women's Collegiate National Team-Detroit roster. The players will train and compete in Detroit from June 22 to July 1.
The CNT-Detroit team is a part of USA Volleyball's High Performance team and is considered a second tryout for players to try and earn a spot on the U.S. Women's National Team. The team will train from June 22-26 at University of Michigan.
The players will then be assigned to one of the two 12-member teams and will play in three exhibition matches against each team.
The matches will take place at the Cobo Center on June 27, June 28 and June 30. The matches will also be held with the USA Volleyball Girls' Junior National Championships in the same arena.
