DETROIT — Looking for a place to park near Little Caesars Arena?
Olympia Entertainment operates 32 facilities within The District Detroit near Midtown all within a 10-minute walk of the arena, according to the Detroit Red Wings official website. The Red Wings are one of the two pro teams that play at the new arena.
According to the website, Little Caesars Arena has also partnered with ParkWhiz, an e-parking service that allows users to book guaranteed parking spots before reaching their destination.
Additional parking can also be found from the additional map on the website here.
For fans looking to peruse the city before the game, the forecast indicates mostly sunny weather, with the high for Friday reaching 35 degrees Fahrenheit, with winds blowing WNW at 5 mph, according to wunderground.com.
For fans traveling to Detroit for the game, the arena is located just one block north of I-75, where it can be accessed easiest via Exit 50. Motorists driving to town from the north can take I-75, I-96, or M-10; from the south, I-75; and I-94 from the east and the west.
Olympia has also developed an interactive map to account for parking and routes that considers “typical” bottlenecks and road closures that aren’t recognized by GPS, according to its website. That map can be accessed here.
