This is a weekly series in which The State News asks an MSU ice hockey player seven questions. Questions range from the player's favorite hockey moment in their career so far to what they're currently watching on Netflix.

This week's player is sophomore forward Taro Hirose. Hirose leads the team in points with 33, 10 goals and 23 assists, and is also a member of the KHL line.

The Spartans will be back in action this Friday against Penn State in a weekend series at Munn Ice Arena. Puck drop for Friday's game is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
