FINAL: No. 6 Spartans beats No. 12 Western Michigan, 1-0

The No. 6 Spartans men's soccer team beat the No. 12 Western Michigan Broncos on Wednesday evening, 1-0, and improved their record to 9-1-1 this season.

The Spartans and Broncos were scoreless going into halftime, but forward Ryan Sierakowski ended the scoreless contest in the fiftieth minute with his fourth goal of the season. Sierakowski now has 11 points this season

MSU also outshot the Broncos, 12-7 with both teams getting two shots on goal. The Spartans also led the game in corner kicks with four, while the Broncos only had two.

The Spartans will next face off against the 7-2-2 Wisconsin Badgers this Saturday night at 8 p.m. in Madison, Wisconsin. The game will air on BTN plus.
