Former MSU employee Larry Nassar, left, converses with his defense attorney, Matt Newburg, during a preliminary examination conference on March 2, 2017 at 55th District Court in Mason, Mich. Nassar's preliminary examination was deferred to May 12, 2017.

The preliminary examination hearing for ex-MSU doctor Larry Nassar will continue Friday in the Ingham County 55th District Court. There, the testimonies from alleged Nassar victims will resume.

The preliminary examination is being held to determine whether or not there is enough evidence for Nassar to stand on trial against certain criminal sexual assault charges. The hearing began May 12 but did not conclude that day. If the hearing does not conclude Friday, it will continue June 23.

Nassar is accused of sexually abusing patients and other young women with whom he came into contact. He was arrested in December 2016 on charges of possessing “at least 37,000” images of child pornography. He currently faces 15 first-degree criminal sexual assault charges in the 55th District Court in Ingham County.

On Friday, 55th District Court Judge Donald Allen Jr. will hear a cross-examination from "Victim D" and is expected to hear the remaining testimonies from "Victim A," "Victim B," "Victim E" and "Victim F," as they are identified in court records.

Three women have already testified against Nassar in the preliminary examination hearing. These women are Rachael Denhollander, or also known as "Victim C." "Victim G" and "Victim D" also testified, as they are identified in court records.
