The Spartans have altered their weekend series against Fresno State and will move the games from East Lansing to Grand Rapids, Mich.

MSU announced Thursday afternoon in a press release that due to wet field conditions from the inclement weather, the weekend series will be moved to Fifth Third Ballpark, home of the West Michigan Whitecaps.

What was intended to be a three-game series starting on Friday will now be condensed into two days. The Spartans will play a doubleheader on April 8 with game one starting at 1 p.m. and game two starting after the end of game one.

The series will wrap up on April 9 with a single game beginning at 2 p.m.
