Groovy Donuts head baker and operations manager Andrew Gauthier said he expected thousands of customers to come pouring into the East Lansing location of Groovy Donuts for Fat Tuesday.
The bakery went through more than 2,500 paczkis before 10 a.m. Tuesday morning.
Fat Tuesday is one of the biggest days for bakeries across Michigan. Groovy Donuts will be selling paczkis until 7 p.m. Tuesday evening.
