MSU Police reports sexual assault at McDonel Hall

MSU police reported that a sexual assault occurred in McDonel Hall during Labor Day weekend.

According to a MSU alert, the sexual assault took place sometime between 10:30 p.m. on Sept. 3 and 2:30 a.m. on Sept. 4 in McDonel Hall. MSU police began an investigation into the reported crime on Sept. 4, and the investigation is ongoing.

MSU police were not available for comment Monday morning.

MSU police remind students in the alert that MSU prohibits sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence and stalking. They also encourage students who have been victims of sexual assault to reach out to the MSU police or the Office for Institutional Equity for help.
