It was announced the Lansing Board of Water and Light had restored power to most of the Lansing area after a power outage occurred late Friday morning to early Friday afternoon. It was announced many phone issues residents were facing also were fixed.

Traffic lights have been restored, according to a follow-up alert.
The East Lansing police department is reporting multiple power outages throughout the Lansing area, according to a series of alerts sent out Friday afternoon.
Affecting the Lansing area and hitting the western part of East Lansing, police are advising residents to treat any out of power traffic lights as a four-way stop.
