This week in college basketball serves as Coaches vs. Cancer week, where coaches all across the nation coach from the sidelines in athletic shoes to raise awareness and funds in the fight against cancer.

In this year's installment of Coaches vs. Cancer, the teams are honoring the late Spartan basketball super fan Lacey Holsworth, by wearing golden shoelaces in a movement known as "Lace up for Lacey."

Holsworth's strength and friendship with former Spartan big man Adreian Payne touched the hearts of millions across the nation, before she lost her battle with cancer in April 2014.

The laces can be purchased from Shoe Carnival. Proceeds will benefit Coaches vs. Cancer and Princess Lacey's Legacy.
