BSA hosts annual Black Power Rally to celebrate culture

November 9, 2015

On Sunday night, the Black Student Alliance hosted their 43rd annual Black Power Rally event.

The event featured singing, dancing and poems performed by students who have been selected prior by auditioning.

Elaine Brown, a former Black Panther Party chairman and activist, was the keynote speaker of the event.

The BSA hosts the event to give students the opportunity to celebrate and learn about black heritage and focus in on current controversial issues such as racism.
