MSU ranked among top 30 public universities

MSU is one of the top 30 public universities in the nation at No. 29 according to U.S. News and World Report's annual rankings, which were released yesterday. 

In the “National Universities Rankings”, MSU jumped up ten spots from No. 85 last year to No. 75 this year, out of 280 public, private and for-profit universities.

"Michigan State University is a powerhouse institution located in the college town of East Lansing," according to U.S. News and World Report's website.  

The Broad College of Business undergraduate programs overall came in at No. 22 out of 156 with the accounting school coming in at No. 12 and the supply chain management school remaining at No. 1

This year marks the fifth year MSU has retained the top spot for best undergraduate supply chain management school. 

MSU's supply chain management school was also ranked No. 1 based on employer preference by SCM World in August. 

MSU is No. 13 among the best education schools as well.

The rankings are based on a series of factors including undergraduate academic reputation, graduation and retention rates, faculty resources, student selectivity financial resources, alumni giving and graduation rate performance according to the U.S. News and World Reports website.
