11 feelings students have when going to football games

September 11, 2015

Football season is one of the most exciting times of the school year.

Between cheering on the team in the student section and watching the Spartan Marching Band perform, game day is an overwhelming experience.

Here are a few of the feelings students will have this Saturday as the Spartans take on the University of Oregon Ducks.

You wake up Saturday morning and you can’t wipe the smile off your face.

You and your crew roll up at the stadium like...

Then you get inside the stadium and there are SO many people.

The Spartans come out of the tunnel ready to fight their hardest. Meanwhile, you can't contain your overwhelming pride.

Now’s the time to sing the Spartan Fight Song and even the non-singers belt it out.

You try and keep up with the claps like...

The Spartan Marching Band comes out and the Drum Major does that strange backbend thing and the whole stadium is like...

When Connor Cook comes on the screen and you’re fangirling.

The first call against the Spartans has you ready to take down a ref.

Everybody has that one friend who just won’t stop being obnoxious during the entire game.

Then comes the bittersweet end to the game, you go home wishing you could relive it all over again:
