The W.J. Beal Botanical Garden will experience music once again, as garden administrators and staff are reviving Music in the Garden — a program that has not been active for 18 years.

Starting June 5, the garden will have music during lunch hours, with acts primarily from the MSU College of Music.
"There is an incredible amount of musical talent on this campus and the more exposure they get, the better," Peter Murray, a botanical technician in the garden, said. "If we can help in any way, getting exposure for the music talents, I'm all for that."
Murray said the garden staff plans to have musical acts until September, so they can have at least one performance after the students return for the fall semester.
Murray said that in addition to more information being available soon on their Facebook page, they are also going to post fliers around the Administration Building and Main Library.
