The girl's gymnastics team earned some recognition in the conference after a solid season of play despite battling injuries throughout the year.
Junior Lisa Burt and sophomore Elena Lagoski were named First Team All-Big Ten, the first time two MSU gymnasts were both name First Team All-Big Ten since 2007-08.
Burt has been a model of consistency for the team this year, with star all-around performer senior Alina Cartwright injured most of the season Burt has stepped up in her place. Burt has been the team's best all-around athlete this season, she's managed to win five all-around titles and with an all-around RQS of 39.345 Burt is ranked No. 23 nationally as an all-around athlete.
Lagoski has been dominate all season long on the floor event, the sophomore has managed to win eight floor titles in 11 regular season meets.
