Tickets for the men’s basketball 2014 State Farm Champions Classic, scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 18 at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis will go on sale on Oct. 6 at 10 a.m.
The 2014 State Farm Champions Classic will include preseason-ranked No. 18 Michigan State vs. No. 2 Duke, and No. 10 Kansas vs. No. 1 Kentucky. The games will take place at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m, respectively.
Ticket prices range from $47 to $252 via ticketmaster.com, Ticketmaster’s hotline (1-800-745-3000) or Bankers Life Fieldhouse’s box office (open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday, though hours may vary if it’s an event day).
According to the official press release, this championship will include three of the four most winning basketball programs: Kentucky, Kansas and Duke. It will also feature four of the top six current coaches as determined by ESPN: Kentucky’s John Calipari (No. 2), Duke’s Mike Krzyzewski (No. 3), MSU’s Tom Izzo (No. 4), and Kansas’ Bill Self (No. 6).
There will be a total of 17 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball championships: eight from Kentucky, four from Duke, three from Kansas, and two from MSU. Also, there will be an overall 25 NCAA Final Four appearances from within the past 22 years: seven from Duke and six from MSU, Kansas, and Kentucky.
