Nairn is heralded as one of the quickest and speediest guards in the nation, and could possibly crack the starting lineup his freshman year. The 5-foot-11 guard would battle junior Travis Trice for minutes throughout the year, or team together to give the backcourt a quick presence.

With point guard recruits Tyler Ulis committing to Kentucky and Tyus Jones likely spurning MSU, Nairn was most sought-after MSU target to date.

The Bahamas native turned down Oklahoma, Indiana and Minnesota to become a Spartan.
