MSU police are searching for two suspects who reportedly snatched an Apple iPhone 4S from a student’s hand Oct. 6 at the bridge near the Main Library.
The two suspects approached the victim, an MSU student, while he was walking on the bridge, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.
McGlothian-Taylor said the suspects asked to borrow the victim’s phone sometime between 1:47 a.m. and 3:23 a.m.
The victim ignored the suspects, who continued to ride alongside him and eventually snatched his phone from his hand. The phone is valued at $600.
The suspect is under investigation, McGlothian-Taylor said.
