Three robbery suspects on the loose

Three people suspected of robbing a man at gunpoint are still on the loose, according to Meridian Township police.

According to a release, a 24-year-old Haslett resident was approached Monday by three black males on a bridge over the Red Cedar River. The man was threatened with a handgun by one of the suspects.

The suspects stole from the victim and ran away on foot.

The first suspect was described as a slender black male between 17-20 years old who was about 6 feet 3 inches to 6 feet 4 inches tall. He was last seen wearing a red and black jacket with a red knit hat.

The second suspect was described as a slender black male between 17-20 years old who was about 6 feet 3 inches to 6 feet 4 inches tall. He was last seen in a green jacket and glasses.

The last suspect was described as a slender black male between 17-20 years old who was about 5 feet 11 inches to 6 feet tall. He was last seen wearing a black jacket and a black baseball hat.

Officers from East Lansing and MSU police departments assisted with the investigation.
