The MSU wrestling team fell in its first dual meet of the season to Eastern Michigan on Friday, 20-16.
Although the Spartans (0-1) lost the meet, five Spartan wrestlers were able to pick up a win.
Wrestling falls to Eastern Michigan
Winning for the Spartans were junior 149-pounder Dan Osterman, senior 165-pounder Anthony Jones Jr., senior 184-pounder Ian Hinton, senior 197-pounder Tyler Dickenson and sophomore heavyweight Michael McClure.
The Spartans will have a two-week break before traveling to Pennsylvania to take on Lock Haven and Bucknell on Dec. 3.
