A 24-year-old Brighton, Mich., man was hit by a vehicle Friday at about 2:30 a.m. at the corner of Abbot Road and Saginaw Avenue, according to an East Lansing Police report.
The man was talking on his cell phone as he crossed the intersection when he was struck by a 2004 gold Honda Odyssey, according to the report.
The man was unconscious when police arrived and was transported to Lansing’s Sparrow Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the vehicle, a 68-year-old Haslett, Mich., man, had a green light when he hit the pedestrian.
The pedestrian was not issued a citation.
