Police Brief 10/21

October 20, 2011

A 19-year-old female student reported her bike stolen between noon Oct. 10 and 10 a.m. Oct. 13, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.

The student locked her bike to the bike racks on the northeast side of Butterfield Hall, and when she returned to the rack, the bike was gone, McGlothian-Taylor said.

The bike is a purple Trek, valued at $100 dollars. The cable lock used to secure it to the rack also allegedly was stolen.

There are no suspects, and the incident is under investigation.
