A 57-year-old female East Lansing resident reported her bike stolen between 7 p.m. Sept. 23 and 10 a.m. Sept 24, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.
The woman locked her bike to a rack on the north side of the Union using a $10 cable lock, McGlothian-Taylor said.
The bike, valued at $2,000, was a six-speed, Tiger-brand, male bike with whitewall front tires and black handlebars.
The lock also allegedly was stolen.
There are no suspects, and the incident is under investigation.
